Returns Policy

All our items are handmade and crafted from around the world; therefore we offer a no refund policy on all items purchased from Statement Alice.

We are happy to exchange any item for another, providing that the new item is not of a lesser value than the original item purchased.  If you would like to exchange an item, the original item purchased must be returned to us no later than 7 days from the date the item was received.  This includes the date that delivery was first attempted, and not the date the item was later collected.  Returned items must be received back to us the same condition as when received. If there are any signs the item has been worn, altered or washed, the item will not be eligible for an exchange and will be sent back to you. 

We understand it is important you receive an exchange as quickly as possible and aim to process your exchange within 2 working days of the item being received, excluding bank holidays.  We will update you via email when your new item is on its way.

Returned items for exchange are to be paid by for the customer.  We recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping a record of the tracking number until you have received an email confirmation the item has been received and the exchange has been processed.

Statement Alice will not pay for any return charges, nor will we exchange any items that are lost or missing during transit of the return.  All original shipping fees are non-refundable and will not be accounted as part of the exchange amount.

Although we are happy to exchange items, for hygienic purposes no jewellery or hair accessories can be exchanged. If there are signs the item has been used or worn, the item will be sent back and no exchange will be processed.

Faulty Items

If you receive an item and believe it to be faulty upon delivery, you must email us within 48 hours with your name, order number and photograph of the fault. On receipt, Customer Care will investigate and if the item is deemed faulty, we will contact you by email to arrange a refund/exchange.  It is up to our discretion if we deem an item as faulty and if photographic evidence of the fault is not received within 48 hours of delivery, no refund or exchange will be accepted.
